Liz hadn’t slept in days unless you count being passed out drunk. She lost her phone and her wallet, and for some reason she couldn’t care less.
“Keep up, slowpoke!” Elle shouted as she skipped merrily along the beach. The sun had finally begun to rise.
“Where the fuck are we, Elle?” Liz squinted in the light, even though it wasn’t that bright. She had no idea where the rest of the girls had ended up. Or Gabriel for that matter.
“WHO CARES!?” Elle shouted as she ran back to Liz with a broad grin on her face. The girl Liz had been just a few months ago would have screamed at Elle for being irresponsible, for taking to many risks. But now…
“Good point.” Liz nodded. She took of her left shoe, still unsure where the right one had ended up, and hurled it into the ocean with a laugh.
