AN: Pete does totally need to buy art for the club from Liz ;)
Peter was not expecting what he found at the small art gallery that day. The blasting music for one was not fitting the environment, nor was the sounds of breaking glass that he picked up over the noise from the speakers.
Thankfully Liz needed more coffee after her latest round of ‘target practice’. She’d gotten a little out of control. Not with the fire, but with what she was aiming the fireballs at. She’d have to replace those lights in the empty classroom later.
She winced when she realized she’d forgotten to lock the front door behind her. “Sorry, we’re not actually open yet, but how can I help you.” She said softly after switching the track to a more mellow song.
“I’m opening a club, and I need art.” Peter said as he tried to hide a laugh. Liz didn’t notice she had bits of glass littering her hair. “Sure, what kind of club?” She smiled back at him, confused as to why he was so chipper at such an early hour. She turned a million shades of red as Peter reached over to brush the glass off the top of her head.
“Dancing.” He said not wanting to make her any more uncomfortable. She didn’t seem like the type of girl who would want to know exactly what kind of club he was opening anyway.
“Dancing. You mean like a disco. Do people even do that anymore?” Liz chuckled, making a bad joke because she was nervous.
“Guess so. What have you got for me?” Peter said as he walked over to a print of the city skyline.
