This goblin started following me after

Well, if anything, he might be able to get enough from the Goblin's mind that he won't need to know the language.

Yeah, I'd offer you a translator, but the only one I can make isn't really practical.

Why not? can't you make anything?

Ok, 1) Can't make anything, if I could, then I'm pretty sure I'd break the laws of physics, 2) the designs behind most universal translators are difficult to create which is why 3) the one I'd make would be one of the various Lantern Corps. rings. The issues with that are that I'd need to make it from the right corps., and even then, cosmic level energy doesn't just come from no where.

[she smiles a bit] A simple 'No, I can't. Sorry.' would be fine next time.
