“Red, I don’t know what I can say.” When I open my eyes I’m in flames. I step closer to him.
“I didn’t do this on purpose, you know that right? The last thing in the world I want is to… lose you.”
I put my flaming hand on his right hand, the stone one. I don't want to burn him. “You’re my best friend in the whole world, remember?”
