If you've seen the Hellboy movie, you know she goes to a psychiatric hospital called Bellemie after "The Pittsburgh Incident". For Brokenverse, I had her run away to NY instead of checking herself into the crazy house. Since she already knew NYJack from an overlap of TW and BPRD cases, ( Giant squids, if memory serves) she started working for TW in NY. Liz is very careful to not make any waves and not get upset or upset anyone. Her fire is connected to her emotions, so if she gets overly emotional, she sparks. She's killed a lot of innocent people with her fire without meaning to, and people making light of her ability or thinking it's 'cool' makes her extremely uncomfortable. When she gets upset, she puts up walls, which may or may not be hard to knock down depending on who she's speaking with at the time. She's often very superficial because talking about superficial stuff is easier than talking about what's really bothering her, and something always is.

My Liz is a blend of mostly movie verse, with comic verse, animated verse AND novel verse thrown in to fill in the many many gaps Guillermo del Toro left in her history and personality. ( Wow, I'm insane for doing that now that I think about it.) Full bio and histories on her LJ.

RED

Hellboy, HB, or Red; whatever you want to call him. ( Just not demon or you might get punched) was an 8 foot tall sullenpants when Liz left, like he always is. Recently, Liz told Jack that Red might be able to help with the werewolves so Red came to NY after running into Jack in Jersey. Because he's got feelings for Liz and she's basically abandoned him a dozen times, Red has yet to go talk to her now that he's around again, immuring himself in work at his new job instead. NY Jack set him up with a spot to live in the abandoned subway. Red is a lose canon on many respects. He beats the hell out of something first, then asks questions. He has very little respect for authority. He has a big effin' mouth, and an even bigger appetite for beer and junk food. He smokes cigars, cheap crappy ones. You give him a Cuban and he'll probably do whatever you ask of him. He doesn't like talking about his 'destiny' or why he was 'born' and is determined to avoid it at all costs.

She's got a teeny tiny part in this for now. I broke her off canon by having her, Nick and Danny all split up to keep them all safe because there is no Danny or Nick. She came to NY and ran into NY Jack, mistaking him for Patrick Logan (

terrorxtrahot ) She's working tech stuff for NY Jack because he's got her full criminal record and he sorta blackmailed her. That bastard. She's run into Patrick around the Hub, and is basically indifferent about him. At least she didn't stab him with a screwdriver.

bb!Gwen is mostly crack, but she does know Big!Jack and likes to be an annoying little 'Mini-Cooper'. She's bossy and a know-it-all and likes to yell and scream when she doesn't get her way. Boys are stupid, girls are better and she wants more than anything in the world to be 'da weadeh of Torchwud'. She's around Brokenverse on occasion, but again not a major part of anything. Yet.
