“Liz, what are you doing?” Gabriel was a good Catholic boy, and the idea that she was laying out crystals and drawing a pentagram with salt make a shiver run down his spine.
“A summoning.” She said simply as she set the crystals into place. “We need to talk to the spirit of the girl who was murdered, and this is the best way to do it.” She was acting like she was making tea, and that freaked him out.
Not as much as when not one, but several dozen spirits showed up. “Crap…”Liz muttered after she opened her eyes.
